Inside the villa you will find that there are a number of amenities which we hope will add to your enjoyment. Each week the villa will be cleaned and the beds changed. The villa has full central heating and the wood burning stove is fully operational. Alternatively if you are too hot simply turn on the air-conditioning for a lovely cool inside space. There is a music centre with a number of CD’s available – there is also a TV with satellite system which is tuned in to UK channels so you don’t have to miss any of your favourites. (Remember Spain is an hour ahead of UK time) There is also a selection of DVD’s, including a number of favourite children’s movies. Inside the sideboard there are a number of board games which you are welcome to use and a number of books available. There is also a Playstation 2 with a limited number of games.
The kitchen has a full sized oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is also a line for washing and an ironing board and iron available. There is salt, pepper, herbs and spices in the kitchen and there is also a full sized hamper with crockery and cutlery and a cool bag which you are welcome to use for days out.
Water to the villa is provided by a natural water supply in the hills. We would recommend that you drink bottled water during your stay but the water is fine for teeth-cleaning etc.
Outside the villa there is a barbecue available. By the pool there is a large plastic storage box which contains a number of inflatables. There are also some armbands there for children which we would encourage you to use at all times outside as the swimming pool is not fenced. We also have available a full-sized table tennis table, lawn croquet and a set of garden boules for games outside. The children’s play area is through the small gate by the swimming pool and there is the tree house, a slide and swing and a zip line for the more adventurous.
At the back of the villa is the hot tub which is kept at a constantly warm temperature. There are lights available inside the tub should you wish to have a relaxing soak in the evenings. The swimming pool is eight feet deep at the deep end and three feet at the shallow end.
There are some marked footpaths in the hills around the villa. These offer some fantastic views of the orange groves, town and sea but the going is for the relatively fit. The town is a 10minute drive away and the resort of OlivaNova golf is 15 minutes away. The course has been designed by Seve Ballesteros and offers a challenging round of golf.
